CAFE UBA

FINCA LA RIVIERA | FINCA MILAN

Finca La Riviera and Finca Milan lay about 45 minutes outside the city of Pereira in Risaralda, Colombia. There are over nineteen varieties of coffee on Finca La Riviera today and the oldest coffee trees were planted in Finca Milan years ago in what used to be farmland shared by coffee farmers and cattle ranchers. The first farmland cultivated with coffee trees was owned by Julio Cesar Madrid’s ancestors and has been operating for over 40 years. Julio is committed to producing incredible coffees and exercising his creativity in his processing methods together with his business partner and processor, Andres Julio Quiceno.

Cafe Uba has been a stable and respected producer in the Middle East and Chinese coffee markets for over two decades before CoTrade began to source with them. We found a commonality in how we view coffee, family, and honor in relationships and are pleased that Cafe Uba decided the time was right to introduce their work in coffee to the US market through CoTrade. We are excited about the Uba coffees and equally admire the honor and respect with which Cafe Uba works as a team, with its employees, and with the land they steward.
